DELTA Fiber achieved strong regional results in the Fixed-Line Network Test 2026 by Umlaut & Connect in the Netherlands. In Friesland, Gelderland, Limburg, Utrecht, and Zeeland, DELTA Fiber recorded the best regional network performance. In Overijssel and South Holland, DELTA Fiber ties for first place.
The independent test by Umlaut & Connect is based on 359.6 million measurements collected over a 24-week period and reflects real-world user experience of fixed broadband connections. It evaluates performance across metrics including download speed, upload speed, latency, stability, and geographic availability.
DELTA Fiber sees these results as confirmation of the quality of its fiber network and the investments made in recent years. DELTA Fiber operates the second-largest fiber network in the Netherlands, offering internet speeds of up to 8 Gbps. DELTA is also the only major Dutch fiber provider offering Wifi 7, the latest generation of wireless home connectivity.

In the report, DELTA Fiber is described as a regional fixed-network provider reaching approximately 1.7 million households.
DELTA Fiber’s network is also open to multiple service providers. Odido already delivers fiber services over DELTA Fiber’s network, and Ziggo will begin offering services on the network this year. This allows more consumers to benefit from the network’s quality and capacity.
