For the third year in a row, DELTA delivers the highest internet speed in the country. This is shown in the annual report by nPerf, which collects millions of independent internet speed tests. DELTA scores the highest on nearly all major performance criteria. With an overall nPerf score of 153,109 points, DELTA leaves the competition far behind.
The growing demand for high-quality streaming, video calls, online gaming, AI assistants, and connected devices requires ultra-fast internet. DELTA customers benefit from the fastest internet. On average, DELTA customers achieve a download speed of 302.2 Mbps, an upload speed of 269.1 Mbps, and a latency of 12.3 ms.
DELTA’s latency of just 10.9 ms was remarkably low compared to competitors. Latency measures the delay in a connection. Even when using wireless internet via Wi-Fi, DELTA delivers the highest speeds. This ensures the best experience for browsing, streaming, and video calls.
Average internet speed has increased by more than 10 percent over the past year. DELTA also outperforms competitors on stability. The report shows that DELTA consistently delivers high performance during both peak and off-peak hours. John Wittekamp, Chief Technology Officer at DELTA, explains: “Our customers increasingly need higher internet speeds and are consciously choosing them. That’s why we continuously invest in the latest network technology. Once again, we’re setting the standard in the market, and that is reflected in nPerf’s report: we achieve the highest speeds and the highest overall score in this independent comparison. That makes us proud!”
In recent years, DELTA has heavily invested in the development and rollout of its fiber network, enabling the highest internet speeds. As a result, DELTA now operates the second-largest fiber network in the market. “We connect new customers to our network every day. We do this partly through new network expansions, but mostly by quickly activating households on existing networks. The foundation—our network—is rock solid. In the coming period, we will also focus on improving the surrounding services, so customers notice the difference in both speed and service,” Wittekamp adds.
nPerf processes over 300,000 speed tests per day. This report is based on more than 300,000 daily speed tests from consumers in the Netherlands. It includes objective measurements of download speed, upload speed, latency, web browsing, and streaming quality. Only providers with sufficient test volume are included in the report.
