DELTA is expanding DELTA Basis TV starting September 7 with ESPN 1, 2, 3, and 4. DreamWorks and Love Nature will also become part of the basic package. As a result, customers get standard access to live soccer, other top sports and a broader entertainment lineup.
Where customers previously needed an additional subscription to watch all ESPN channels, these will be a standard part of DELTA Basis TV starting in September. Customers can watch live matches from the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie, Keuken Kampioen Divisie, Eurojackpot KNVB Cup, and Eurojackpot Women's Eredivisie, among others. American sports leagues such as the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL will also be available.
In addition to ESPN, DELTA is expanding the basic package with the DreamWorks channel, featuring children's and family movies, and the Love Nature channel, featuring nature documentaries from around the world.
With this expansion, the monthly rate for DELTA Basis TV will increase by 2,50 euros per month starting September 7.
Customers who have ESPN Compleet, or choose to add it, get extra benefits compared to ESPN in the basic package, such as Ultra HD picture quality and the ability to watch ESPN channels through the ESPN Watch TV app. ESPN Compleet is dropping in price to 10 euros per month.
Customers who normally don't have ESPN channels in their subscription can watch the ESPN channels for free from August 1 through September 6. This lets them try out ESPN's lineup and ensures they won't miss any of the new soccer season.
