On December 5, 2022, we detected that customer data of DELTA Mobile and Caiway Mobile had been stolen from our online order processing application. This concerns names, addresses, e-mail addresses, dates of birth, telephone and bank account numbers. We advise customers involved to be alert to possible email and telephone fraud. For example, a combination of different personal data can be used for identity fraud and phishing.

No passwords, credit card information or customer numbers were stolen. That’s why it’s not necessary for customers involved to change passwords. Customers whose data are involved in the data breach will be informed personally. The Dutch Data Protection Authority has been informed. Cybersecurity service provider Tesorion is involved. We are also in close contact with the relevant police and judiciary departments. The online order processing forms of DELTA Mobile and Caiway Mobile are temporarily unavailable.

We deeply regret that, despite our active cyber security policy, customer data were stolen. We inform customers involved to enable them to minimize possible misuse of stolen data.
